For this year’s EUDEC Conference we are focusing on making the Keynote Speeches and the Open space equally intriguing to all ages and on the voice of all ages being heard and counted in all areas of the Conference.
In the Keynote Speeches we have two intra-age panels.
Students of Demokratische Schule X and other Democratic School students will open the Conference with a Q&A panel called “Βeginners’ guide to Democratic Education”. "Βeginners’ guide to Democratic Education”.

As part of the Open Space EN EUDEC will be running during the whole conference (en [gre.]: in). EN EUDEC.
Αrtists and educators from all over Greece will provide workshops, performances and other events for all ages including babies and infants (accompanied or not). Their tools are theatrical alchemy, creative circus, dance, acrobatics, improvisation, music, song, puppet, shadow and object theater, fine arts and crafts, storytelling and games. Within the Open Space EN EUDEC will also have a basecamp where all ages can spend their time freely. You can see all the details here.
EUDEC Conferences are situations where all ages have full voting rights, to a certain extent full civil rights. It is a situation where ages are not systematically differentiated and separated.
EN EUDEC will be soaking up the potential and sharing what happens when it is safeguarded.
- What is democracy from the perspective of young citizens who normally have no say?
- What happens when their voices are heard?
- What role does art play in all of this?
The Conference is for us a celebration of equity in practice.
